ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced Sunday that the team has agreed to terms with goaltender Steven Racine.
Racine, 25, has posted an 0-3-0 record with a 3.76 goals-against-average and an 0.873 save percentage in four ECHL appearances this season split between the Atlanta Gladiators and Toledo Walleye.
Last season, the 6-3, 190-pound netminder recorded a 20-6-3 record, with a 2.89 goals-against-average and a 0.914 save percentage during this senior campaign at the University of Michigan. In addition, he helped guide the Wolverines to a BIG-10 conference tournament championship.
The Williamsville, New York native logged a 50-22-7 record with a 2.84 goals-against-average, a 0.909 save percentage and two shutouts during his four-year collegiate career at Michigan.
Racine is expected to be available for today’s game at Greenville which is slated for a 3:00 p.m. start time.
