Last Night’s Game:  Denver Manderson scored twice while Chris Crane and Brock Montgomery each finished with a goal and an assist to lead the Solar Bears to a 5-2 victory over the Everblades Friday night at the Amway Center.  Danny New and Adam Brace each scored in their returns with the Everblades.   Florida was outshot for the second time all season (36-27).

About the Everblades:  While the ‘Blades enjoyed a week away from game action it was still a busy week for the team from a transactions standpoint. On Monday the team lost three defensemen as Kevin Raine, Josh Wesley and Matt Mackenzie all received call-ups to the AHL.  Later in the day, the team acquired Adam Brace in a three-team deal that sent Peter Schneider to the Kalamazoo Wings and Corey Syvret to Atlanta Gladiators.  Brace returns for his third stint with the Everblades. Brace led the team in scoring during the 2014-15 season with 72 points.  In the past couple of days the team also added defenseman Evan Moore and forward Collin MacDonald from the SPHL.  As a result of the recent moves, Florida is currently skating with five healthy defensemen.

About the Solar Bears:   Brett Findlay and Denver Manderson lead the Solar Bears with 21 points.  Findlay has been a consistent performer for Orlando having recorded a point in 14 of the 18 games played this season… Forward Chris Crane enters tonight riding a four-game point streak…On Friday Ryan Massa was named the ECHL Goaltender of the Month for November…Orlando is first in the ECHL with a 38.67 shots-for per game average.  The Everblades are right behind them in second in the league at 35.67.
