Tonight is the third and final meeting between the two clubs this week. Florida has won its last three games and continue to maintain a five-point lead in the South Division over second place Orlando. The Jackals entered the week on a five-game unbeaten streak, but have dropped both games with the ‘Blades thus far this week, and will certainly be hungry for a win before the close of their Sunshine State road trip.About Friday’s Game: Matt Skoff turned aside all 30 shots faced to earn his first career shutout as the Everblades edged the Jackals 1-0 at Germain Arena. The lone goal of the game came while the Everblades were on the penalty kill. Rookie forward Michael Ferrantino intercepted the puck and carved a shot just outside the crease that slipped past Elmira netminder Andy Iles for the shorthanded tally.About the Everblades: Following a stellar night in net last night, Matt Skoff will once again get the start in goal for Florida…Michael Kirkpatrick’s points and assists streaks were snapped last night at eight games. Kirkpatrick’s 8-game streaks set a team best this season…Florida is second on the penalty kill at home at 92.3% (36-for-39). Last night the ‘Blades killed off all seven Elmira power plays last night, including two shortened 5-on-3 power play attempts.
