Promo Schedule Announced; Single Game Tickets Now on Sale!

ESTERO, FL – The Florida Everblades have announced Friday their initial promotional schedule and key dates for the 2016-17 season.  In addition, individual game tickets are now on sale!  CLICK HERE to purchase tickets!

The following is a listing of key dates for the upcoming season:

The Everblades will open their 19th season in the ECHL by donning their new-look jerseys on Opening Weekend which will take place October 14 & 15 against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits. The ‘Blades will debut the new white jersey on October 14, and the first 5,000 fans will receive a free magnet schedule courtesy of Jack’s Cleaning.The team’s new green jerseys will debut the following night on October 15.

November 4 & 5 vs. the Norfolk Admirals is Military and Veterans Weekend, and once again the Everblades will be wearing military themed jerseys which will be auctioned off following the November 5 contest to benefit the National Coalition of Patriots. The team will be honoring veterans and military personnel throughout the weekend.

The Annual  IBERIABANK Teddy Bear Toss will take place on Saturday, December 10.  Fans will once again be encouraged to bring a new or gently used stuffed animal to the game.  When the Everblades score their first goal, fans may throw the stuffed toys onto the ice to celebrate.  The stuffed animals and teddy bears will be rounded up and distributed to children’s charities across Southwest Florida for the holidays. Last year, nearly 7,000 bears were collected and distributed throughout the community.

February 10 is Paint the Ice Pink night. Fans will have the opportunity to paint the ice pink after the game to help prepare the ice surface for Pink in the Rink, which will take place the following night on February 11.  The Everblades players will wear special pink jerseys for breast cancer awareness. The jerseys will be auctioned off with the proceeds benefiting local cancer charities.

March 18 marks the Annual Guns ‘N Hoses Night.  Local law enforcement officers and local fire fighters will battle it out on the ice prior to the Everblades’ contest with the Orlando Solar Bears.

April 8 is Fan Appreciation Night as well as Black Out Night.  The team will wear special black jerseys which will be auctioned to benefit The Passion Foundation.

The Everblades have several other promotional nights planed including Video Game Night (Oct.26), Harry Potter Night ( Nov, 18), Star Wars Night (Dec. 17), Princess and Prince Night (April 1).  The Fur Circus is also scheduled to perform on January 7.  Additional promotions will be added throughout the season.
