ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades are looking to bounce back against the Orlando Solar Bears in Game Four of the South Division Finals on Friday, May 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kia Center. Florida leads the series 2-1 over Orlando.
The Solar Bears handed Florida their first loss of the postseason in Game Three with a 2-1 decision. The Everblades outshot Orlando 16-2 in the second period but left that frame down 1-0 before the teams traded third period goals. Isaac Nurse scored Florida’s only goal in the loss.
Florida will be without defenseman Sean Allen for the next two games after being assessed a suspension for a hit he threw on Reece Newkirk in the first period. Allen got a five-minute major penalty and a game misconduct as well for the check. Both teams went 0/4 on the power play in Game Three.
