ESTERO, FL – The Florida Everblades unveiled new designs for both their home and away jerseys for the 2016-17 season. The jerseys were unveiled via the team’s social media platforms on Friday afternoon.
The newly designed white jerseys features “Everblades” spelled out in green font on the front crest, with each player’s jersey number positioned directly underneath in navy blue font.
The traditional navy blue jerseys that the team has worn in recent years will now give way to new green jerseys. The green jerseys are highlighted by the team’s classic logo on the front crest.
Both jerseys will feature the popular gator-teeth pattern which has been featured on previous jerseys. This pattern is placed along the bottom of the white jersey, and is also located on the elbow area of both jerseys. The gator-teeth are also represented on the team's new socks which will also debut this season.
Fans will get their first chance to see the new jerseys in action on opening weekend. The white jerseys will be worn by the team on Friday, October 14, while the green jerseys will debut on Saturday, October 15. Following opening weekend, the white jerseys will be worn by the team at home for the first half of the regular season, while the green jerseys will be worn by the 'Blades at home during the second half of the season.

----Opening Weekend is October 14 & 15 The Florida Everblades open up their 19thseason of hockey at home at Germain Arena on Friday, October 14 against the Greenville Swamp Rabbits beginning at 7:30 p.m. The two teams will meet again on Saturday, October 15 with a 7:00 p.m. start time.
