ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades are looking to tie the Eastern Conference Finals against the Trois-Rivières Lions in Game Four on Friday, May 23 at 7:00 p.m. with the Lions leading the series 2-1 over Florida.
The Everblades got their first win of the series in a 4-2 comeback win in Game Three. All of Florida’s goals came in the third period with two of them, including Colton Hargrove’s game winner, being scored on the power play. Alex Kile led the way with a goal and three assists, the first four-point game by an Everblade in this playoff run.
For the Lions, Luke Cavallin stopped 37 shots in the loss as Florida outshot Trois-Rivières 41-18, including 21-3 in the third. Trois-Rivières has scored first in all three game in the series. Jordan Sambrook led Florida with seven shots on goal, while Logan Nijhoff had eight of Trois-Rivières’ shots. Florida went 2/6 on the man advantage while the Lions finished 1/4 on the power play.
