ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades play their final road games of the season in a two-game series against the Savannah Ghost Pirates, starting Friday, April 4 at 7:30 p.m.
The Everblades hold a 22-5-6-1 record on the road this season, including a perfect four-for-four in road games against Savannah. Overall throughout this season, Florida is 7-2-0-0 against the Ghost Pirates this season.
Florida sits in second place in the South Division with five games remaining this season – the South Carolina Stingrays occupy first place with a three-point lead over the Everblades. While the Stingrays face both the Orlando Solar Bears and Norfolk Admirals before the conclusion of the regular season, the Everblades do not play a playoff team for the rest of the regular season.
Savannah has already been eliminated from playoff contention, missing the postseason for a third consecutive year. Devon Paliani leads Savannah with 30 goals this season, one of four ECHL players to reach that mark this year. The Ghost Pirates currently have four former Everblades on their roster: Kai Schwindt, Evan Nause, Evan Cormier, and two-time Kelly Cup Champion Zach Uens.
