ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades take on the Orlando Solar Bears for the
last time this season on Saturday, March 15 at the Kia Center.
Florida lost 6-2 to the Savannah Ghost Pirates last night, surrendering four goals
in the third period in the loss. Carson Gicewicz registered his 100th professional
point with a goal in the loss, moving his point streak up to four games.
Meanwhile, Orlando has won three straight games, including a 4-1 road win over
the Jacksonville Icemen last night. Entering tonight’s action, the Solar Bears’
magic number to clinch a playoff spot is now 10 – if they keep pace, they could
clinch a postseason berth as early as next week. Aaron Luchuk leads his group
against the Blades with five goals and ten points in the season series this year.
The Everblades have a 7-2-3-0 record against Orlando this season. Each of the
