ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades have loaned defenseman Jordan Sambrook to the American Hockey League’s Henderson Silver Knights.
Sambrook, 26, leads the Everblades defense in goals (six), assists (19), and points (25) while also leading the entire team and all ECHL defenseman in plus-minus with a plus-30 rating. The right-shot blueliner is a two-time Kelly Cup Champion with Florida in 2022 and 2024.
The Markham, Ontario native has played two games in the AHL in his career with the Charlotte Checkers in the 2021-22 season. In his junior days, the former Red Wings draft pick won an OHL Championship in 2017 with the Erie Otters.
Henderson sits at the bottom of the AHL’s Pacific Division with a 20-29-2-0 record, six points behind the Tucson Roadrunners for the last playoff spot. The Silver Knights are the AHL affiliate of the Tahoe Knight Monsters.
