ESTERO, Fla. – Florida Everblades President Craig Brush, along with Head Coach and General Manager Brad Ralph, announced that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Jordan Sambrook.
Sambrook, 26, enters his fourth season with the Everblades after making his professional debut with the team in 2020-21. A member of the Kelly Cup winning teams of 2022 and 2024, Sambrook won his second ring with Florida after playing 47 games this season, scoring two goals with six assists, after being re-acquired from the Kansas City Mavericks early in the campaign. The Markham, Ontario native played in all 23 postseason games for the Everblades this year, adding another two goals with five assists in the playoffs.
In 164 career games with the Everblades, including playoffs, Sambrook has tallied 40 total points on eight goals and 32 assists.
The former Detroit Red Wings prospect played for the Mavericks in 2022-23, his only other team in professional hockey. Before turning pro, Sambrook played one season at Brock University after a junior career with the Erie Otters and Soo Greyhounds in the Ontario Hockey League. He won an OHL championship in 2017 with Erie.
