EVERBLADES LOOK TO TAKE CONTROL OF SERIES IN GAME FOUR

ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades can push the South Carolina Stingrays to the brink of elimination with a win in Game Four of the South Division Semifinals on Friday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m.

Florida holds a 2-1 series lead after grabbing a 4-3 OT win against the Stingrays on Wednesday.

Logan Lambdin scored the overtime winner 5:23 into the extra frame while Sean Josling, Joe Pendenza, and Levko Koper also scored for the Everblades. Josling’s goal was his third of the postseason while Pendenza, Koper, and Lambdin all scored their first.

Jarid Lukosevicius scored twice, including with less than one minute in regulation to force overtime, with Chaz Reddekopp also scoring for South Carolina. Lukosevicius is now the first player for the Stingrays to score multiple goals.

Cam Johnson made 32 saves for the win while Clay Stevenson got the loss, also making 32 saves.

The Everblades scored a power play goal on one of their two tries and were perfect against the Stingray’s four man-advantage chances. The teams only combined for 12 penalty minutes in Game Three after having 74 between them in the prior match.

Florida has not taken less than four penalties in a game so far in the series.

Fans can take advantage of 239 Fridays with Game Four’s special offering two tickets, two programs, and one large popcorn for just 39 dollars. Also, kids 12-and-under eat free with the purchase of an adult entre at Breakaway Sports Pub inside Hertz Arena.
