ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades finish off the 2022-23 regular season at Hertz Arena against the Atlanta Gladiators on Saturday, April 15 at 7:00 p.m.
Florida (37-25-4-5) is locked into the fourth seed in the South Division and are waiting to see who they will face in the opening round of the 2023 Kelly Cup Playoffs. Atlanta (35-29-6-1) will miss the playoffs this year.
Yesterday, the Gladiators upended the Everblades 3-1 in what was Florida’s fourth straight defeat. John McCarron scored the lone goal for Florida on a third-period power play.
Atlanta’s Joe Murdaca led the way to the win with a 41-save performance. Cam Johnson made 27 saves in the loss.
The Gladiators have won five of nine games against the Everblades this season.
Florida is set to face either the South Carolina Stingrays or the Jacksonville Icemen in the first round of the playoffs.
