BLADES HOST MAVERICKS ON MARVEL NIGHT

ESTERO, Fla. - The Florida Everblades host the Kansas City Mavericks at Hertz Arena for Marvel Night on Saturday, February 25 at 7:00 p.m. 

The Everblades (30-13-4-3, 61 points) are one point behind the Jacksonville Icemen after last night’s victory. Kansas City (22-21-6-0) has now lost four straight games. 

Florida claimed victory against the Mavericks 4-1 on Friday for a second straight victory against Kansas City. Oliver Chau scored twice, extending his point streak to five in the win. 

Lukas Kalble and Xavier Cormier each had two helpers in the victory while Joe Pendenza extended his point streak up to nine games. 

Cam Johnson grabbed the win with 26 saves to snap a personal two-game skid. 

Florida stopped a two-game skid with the win, while Kansas City has now lost three straight games. 

The Everblades will be wearing special Rocket Raccoon jerseys that will be auctioned off in support of charity. The first 2,000 fans through the door will receive a special Marvel poster.
