ESTERO, Fla. — The Florida Everblades, the ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Nashville Predators, announced on Tuesday an initiative to help raise money for the recovery efforts in Middle Tennessee following the deadly tornadoes early Tuesday morning.
The Everblades are hosting Affiliation Night on Saturday, March 14 to salute the first-year partnership with the Predators, and $5 from every ticket purchased through this link for that contest will be donated to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. The fundraiser can also be accessed at floridaeverblades.com/nashville.
“Our NHL affiliate in Nashville is a part of our extended family, and our thoughts and deepest condolences are with those in Tennessee impacted by Tuesday morning’s devastating storms,” Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush said. “We hope this unity across our affiliation is one piece of a larger humanitarian response to help Nashville and the surrounding areas rebuild in the wake of this tragedy.”
Fans that already have tickets for March 14 can donate directly to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee at www.cfmt.org.
