Prospect Tournament Canceled

ESTERO, FL – The Washington Capitals announced today that this weekend’s prospects tournament (Sept. 9-12) scheduled to take place at Germain Arena as been canceled. The tournament was canceled due to concerns regarding the impending Hurricane Irrma which is forecast to affect several parts of Florida. No make-up date is expected.

The four-team round robin tournament was to include the host Capitals, Florida Panthers, Nashville Predators and the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Opening weekend for the 20th Anniversary of the Everblades hockey takes place on Friday, October 13 & 14 against the Atlanta Gladiators at Germain Arena!
