Estero, FL. - The Florida Everblades finish their weekend with a Sunday matinee against the Orlando Solar Bears on Sunday, February 22 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kia Center.

Florida enters this game off a season-high five game home stand where the Everblades finished with a 3-0-1-1 record. Cam Johnson started all five of those games, allowing two goals or less in every matchup.

The Solar Bears are currently mired in a four-game losing streak, dropping a 4-1 decision to the Savannah Ghost Pirates last night. Each of these losses for Orlando have come at home, and the Solar Bears now sit nine points back of Savannah for the final playoff spot in the South Division.

This is Florida’s first game in Orlando since November 24, where Hudson Elynuik scored twice and Will Cranley made 20 saves for a 4-0 shutout win. The Blades are 6-1-1-0 against Orlando in the season series, including a perfect 3-0-0-0 in Orlando this year. Kyle Penney leads Florida with four goals against the Solar Bears this year.

This is the first of three straight games between Florida and Orlando. The two clubs meet again on Thursday, February 26 at Hertz Arena before the Blades go back to the Kia Center on February 28 to finish the month.
