ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades play their last road game of the regular season Saturday, April 5 at 7:00 p.m against the Savannah Ghost Pirates.
Last night, Florida scored four unanswered goals in the third for an electric 5-4 comeback victory over the Ghost Pirates. Isaac Nurse scored the game winner with just 2.5 seconds left in regulation to stun Savannah and improve the Everblades’ record against their newest rival to 8-2-0-0 this season.
The Everblades have a league-leading ten wins when trailing a game after two periods. Yesterday’s win was their first win when losing by three goals in a game since November 29, 2023 against the Adirondack Thunder.
Entering tonight’s action, Florida is one point behind the South Carolina Stingrays for first place in the South Division and the ECHL. The Stingrays are on a 13-game winning streak and play the Orlando Solar Bears tonight.
