ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades face the Jacksonville Icemen for the last time this season on Wednesday, March 26 at Hertz Arena.
Florida won all four games on their recent road trip through Orlando, Greenville, and Savannah. Leading the way through the wins was forward Carson Gicewicz, riding an eight-game point streak with three goals in his last five games. With these wins, Florida is three points back of the South Carolina Stingrays for first place in the South Division, while holding a game in hand.
Meanwhile, Jacksonville enters this game off back-to-back losses to South Carolina over the weekend. Chris Grando leads Jacksonville with 47 points (19 goals, 28 assists) this season. The Icemen are now nine points behind Florida for second place in the South Division.
The Everblades have a 4-1-1-0 record against Jacksonville this season, most recently taking a 6-2 decision on January 3. Oliver Chau leads Florida with five goals against the Icemen this season.
