ESTERO, Fla. - The Florida Everblades of the ECHL are thrilled to announce an extended partnership with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) the newest member of the Champions Circle as a Premier Partner with exclusive rights in the oncology category. This collaboration designates FCS as the go-to destination for cancer care and support in Southwest Florida. 

“We are incredibly proud to partner with the Florida Everblades, an organization that shares our commitment to community and excellence,” said FCS Chief Executive Officer Nathan H. Walcker.

“Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute has been a significant presence in Lee County since our founding in Fort Myers over 40 years ago. Our dedication to enhancing and expanding oncology services ensures that patients in Southwestern Florida have convenient access to the highest quality care right in their own community. This partnership will help raise awareness about the importance of cancer care and support available in Fort Myers. Together, we can make a meaningful impact for the residents of Fort Myers.”

As part of this three-year agreement, FCS’ brand will be prominently displayed throughout Hertz Arena and the recreational ice rinks on LED digital signs, along with a landmark presence as the primary sponsor of the Hertz Arena Guest Services booth on the main concourse. This partnership also holds future excitement as the Blades are excited to announce that for the 2025-26 season, the FCS steps up as the Title Sponsor for the new “Hockey Fights Cancer” theme night. During this event, proceeds from the Florida Everblades specialty jersey auction will benefit the Florida Cancer Specialists Foundation.
