ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades will host their annual Military Night on Saturday, November 9 at 7 p.m. presented by the National Coalition for Patriots, and are seeking photo submissions of active military personnel and veterans for the game.
This year in The Swamp, honoring military personnel and veterans is even easier—fans can submit their photos online through this link. These images will be part of a special intermission tribute video to recognize the bravery and dedication of the United States Armed Forces, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Space Force.
Participating fans are encouraged to submit clear, high-resolution photos of active military members or veterans. Submissions should include the individual’s name, branch, and highest rank held. Multiple photo submissions are welcome, but only in JPEG, PNG, or PDF format for a deadline of Thursday, November 7 at 5 p.m.
The Military Support Foundation will be collecting donation items outside of the Hertz Arena main doors on Saturday, November 9 to be sent directly to Military personnel on Military Appreciation Night. Items to donate are wipes, toothbrushes, sunblock (travel size), chapstick, body lotion, Toothpaste, shampoo/conditioner (travel sizes), foot powder, and dental floss.
Gator Country 101.9 will be outside Hertz Arena on Saturday, November 9 collecting unwrapped toys for the 7th Annual Santa’s Summit for the PTSD Awareness Summit Toy drive.
The Blades be featuring their military-themed jerseys in their faceoff against the Orlando Solar Bears which will be auctioned through the DASH Auction app, with proceeds going to the National Coalition for Patriots. Hertz Arena will also be hosting free live music before puck drop from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. outside of the building.
