ESTERO, Fla. – After a 4-1 victory fueled by a Logan Lambdin hat trick on home ice, the Florida Everblades are on the road to finish out their three-game series against the Orlando Solar Bears tonight, November 11, at 7:30 p.m. With this being the third consecutive meeting of the two teams, the Blades will continue on the road to later face the Atlanta Gladiators and the Greenville Swamp Rabbits. 

Lambdin was the driving force in Saturday night's contest, scoring in each of the three periods to secure his first multi-goal game of the 2024-25 season. Orlando netted their first and only after Lambdin’s second of the night, but it was short-lived after he struck again 5:28 into the third frame. 

With their backs against the wall, Orlando pulled goaltender Ryan Fanti for an extra attacker giving Connor Doherty space to seal the victory with an empty-net goal and put the Solar Bears away in a three goal deficit. 

Blades starting Goaltender Cam Johnson stood strong in the crease, turning away 17 of 18 shot attempts. Meanwhile, the Blades’ offensive talent consistently outshot Orlando, finishing with a 23-18 advantage. After three periods, the Blades committed five interferences, claiming 13 penalty minutes, compared to Orlando’s four interferences, for 11 total penalty minutes. 

Possessing a 6-2-0 record and a knotted three-game series, the Blades now hold momentum coming off a two-game home advantage and a 4-1 victory, despite Friday night's defeat. Tonight’s 7:30 p.m. puck drop kicks off a demanding four-game road trip, which continues with a 10:30 a.m. faceoff against the Atlanta Gladiators on Thursday.
