ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades prepare for their third straight face off against the Atlanta Gladiators, this time on the road, after a two-game home stand in Estero. Puck drops on Wednesday, October 30 at 7 p.m. at Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia marking the start of a three-game road trip for the Blades.

The Blades have set the tone in this three-game series and look to put the nail in the coffin tonight.

Not only are the Blades coming off back-to-back wins over Atlanta on home ice, but they’re also 3-0-0, tallying their home-opening win in Jacksonville. In their latest matchup against the Gladiators, backup goaltender Will Cranley turned away 25 shots to pull out a steep 6-0 victory and claim his first professional career shutout. 

Coupled with that was a strong offensive effort from Logan Lambdin, Colton Hargrove and Kris Myllari recording one goal with two assists, contributing three points each, while Jesse Lansdell tallied two goals and an assist and Colin Theisen adding another goal to the pool. After claiming their momentum the night before in a 3-1 victory, the Blades stood strong in front of the blue line, limiting the Gladiator's shot attempts throughout all three periods and leaving them trailing by five by the final whistle. The Blades capitalized in the middle frame, scoring three to extend their lead.

After a challenging season opener in Jacksonville, they’ve claimed two comfortable wins against Atlanta, setting up both tonight’s game and an opportunity to carry their winning streak into back-to-back matchups against the South Carolina Stingrays in North Charleston, S.C., on Friday, November 1, at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday, November 2, at 6:05 p.m.
