ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s St. Louis Blues and the AHL’s Springfield Thunderbirds, announced that the team has agreed to terms with defenseman Kris Myllari.
Myllari, 27, joins the Everblades after playing his entire four-year professional career in the ECHL with three different clubs. In 275 career regular-season games, Myllari has recorded 115 total points on 30 goals and 85 assists.
After splitting his 2020-21 rookie season with the Utah Grizzlies, Kansas City Mavericks and Allen Americans, the iron man played all 72 games in three consecutive campaigns with the Americans from 2021 through 2024. Myllari also appeared in 26 Kelly Cup Playoff games with Allen over the past four years.
A native of Kanata, Ontario, Myllari played four seasons of college hockey at Penn State, tallying 62 points on 19 goals and 43 helpers in 149 games. He also played two seasons of junior hockey with the Youngstown Phantoms of the United State Hockey League and one campaign with his hometown Kanata Stallions of the Central Canada Hockey League.
