Everblades Look to Extend Lead in Game Two

ESTERO, Fla – After a decisive 5-1 win last night in Game One of the South Division Finals, the Florida Everblades are back in action for Game Two against the Orlando Solar Bear. The 2024 Kelly Cup Playoffs presented by Germain Lexus and Scanlon Lexus continue at Hertz Arena on Saturday, May 4 at 7:00 p.m. 

Cole Moberg, Will Reilly, Cam Darcy, Mark Senden, and Sean Josling each found the back of the net for goals. Reilly, Darcy, Senden, and Jesse Lansdell all contributed to multi-point games. The Blades' efforts helped produce a five-goal showing – the most in a playoff game so far for Florida. 

The Everblades are now on a four-game winning streak dating back to Game Five of the first round. Friday’s win was the first time Florida had beaten Orlando since Mar. 12, when the Everblades took a 4-3 win in Central Florida. 

Orlando’s two-game winning streak to close out its first-round win against Greenville ended with Friday’s result. 

Game Two will be the final game at Hertz Arena until Game Six and Seven (both if necessary). The series will move to the Kia Center in Orlando for Game Three (May 7), Four (May 9), and Five (May 12, if necessary). The Everblades went 4-2-0 in Orlando this past regular season.
