The Florida Everblades continue their series against the Savannah Ghost Pirates on Friday, March 22 at 7:30 p.m. with Florida eying second place in the South Division.
Logan Lambdin scored twice, including the overtime winner, in the Everblades 3-2 win against Savannah on Wednesday. Oliver Chau provided Florida’s other goal, moving his goal-scoring streak to three games. Sean Josling had a pair of helpers and Will Reilly got one assist - both of them now have five points in their last three games.
The Ghost Pirates are up for elimination on Friday - a regulation loss to Florida and a South Carolina Stingrays win would knock Savannah out of the running for a postseason berth. They would be the second team in the division and the ECHL to be eliminated, following the Atlanta Gladiators.
Florida is on a season-high six game winning streak at Hertz Arena. Savannah is 1-2-1 against the Everblades in Estero this season, having lost the last three matchups. Overall, the Everblades have won six of nine games this year against the Ghost Pirates.
