ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades are back in action on Tuesday for some mid-week madness. Just one weekend separated from two heart-stopping finishes at home, Florida hits the road to face Orlando once again. Puck drop between the Solar Bears and Everblades is set for Tuesday, Mar. 12 at 7:00 p.m. from the Kia Center.
The Everblades are on a two-game win streak after defeating Jacksonville and Orlando last week and sit in third place in the South Division. Florida forward Oliver Chau tallied two goals and an assist across the week. In Friday’s win over the Solar Bears, the Everblades netted three third-period goals for a 4-2 result.
That loss to the Blades concluded three games in as many days for the Solar Bears. In that span, Orlando beat Jacksonville but fell to Greenville and Florida. After the week, the Solar Bears remain below the playoff line, one spot behind the South Carolina Stingrays.
The Everblades and Solar Bears are scheduled to meet two more times in March. The first of those games is Mar. 18, with the second a week later on Mar. 25. Both those games will be held in Orlando.
