ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades finish of their series against the North Division-leading Adirondack Thunder on Saturday, February 10 at 7:00 p.m. at Hertz Arena. For Skunk Ape Night.
Both previous games at Hertz Arena have gone to the home squad – the Everblades won 6-3 on Wednesday and followed it up with a 4-1 victory last night. Zach Uens scored Florida’s fastest goal of the season 15 seconds into the game and both Logan Lambdin and Sean Josling pitched in with a pair of helpers on the evening. Cam Johnson made 28 saves in the win. The Everblades are now 3-1-1-0 against Adirondack this season.
Florida stays in a playoff spot with the win, one point ahead of the Orlando Solar Bears. The Blades are five points back of the South Carolina Stingrays for third in the South Division. The Thunder, despite the loss, are still 14 points ahead of the Norfolk Admirals for first place in the North Division.
Florida finishes the week with Skunk Ape Night, presented by Arthrex. The first 1,500 through the doors will receive a replica Skunk Ape Jersey. The doors open at 6:00 p.m. with a pregame tailgate featuring live music from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
