ESTERO, Fla. – Just a night separated from an exciting, 3-2 overtime win over the Atlanta Gladiators, the Florida Everblades travel to Greenville to take on the Swamp Rabbits. Game time for the Jan. 6 matchup is slated to start at 4:05 p.m. from Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
Saturday’s matchup will be the fourth and final installation of a lengthy road trip that had the team out of the state of Florida for an entire week. The Blades are 2-1 on the road trip so far, with the only loss coming against the Swamp Rabbits on Sunday, Dec. 31. A Bobo Carpenter hattrick on Wednesday, and a Joe Pendenza overtime winner last night helped Florida take two wins over Atlanta.
Since the Blades last saw them, the Swamp Rabbits have only played one game, and took a 4-2 win over the Stingrays last night at home. Greenville scored in every period to take the victory.
After tonight’s early afternoon game, the Everblades will return to the Sunshine State for next week’s series against the Savannah Ghost Pirates!
