ESTERO, Fla. – After splitting the first two games of the series, the Adirondack Thunder and Florida Everblades drop the puck for the rubber match of the three-game set at Cool Insuring Arena on Dec. 2 at 7:00 p.m.
The Everblades won Wednesday’s game 4-3 after a dramatic comeback, while the Thunder dominated the first period on Friday and took that contest 5-3.
Across the series, Mark Senden has scored twice for Florida in his return with the team. In total, six Everblade skaters have contributed goals in the series.
Adirondack scored three goals in the first period of both contests this week. While Florida came back and won on Wednesday, the deficit was too much to overcome on Friday. Defense in the first 20 minutes will be at a premium for the Blades tonight.
After Saturday’s game, the Everblades return to Estero for five straight home games against the South Carolina Stingrays and Orlando Solar Bears. This includes the much-anticipated Teddy Bear Toss game on Saturday, Dec. 9!
