ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades hit the road for a Black Friday bout with the Jacksonville Icemen on Friday, November 24 at 7:00 p.m.
Florida rolls into Duval County on their hottest run of the season. The Everblades have won their last four straight, most recently defeating the Atlanta Gladiators 3-1 last Saturday. Oliver Chau enters action Friday on a four-game point streak and Cam Johnson was named as the ECHL Goalie of the Week after grabbing three straight wins, allowing only four goals over three games, with only one of those coming at even strength.
Jacksonville, meanwhile, has only won two of their last ten games. In their last match on Wednesday, the South Carolina Stingrays rolled into Jacksonville and shut out the Icemen in a 4-0 decision.
The Icemen have won both two previous meetings with Florida this season. Both of those games came back in October, with Jacksonville winning 3-1 at home on October 21 and then 4-3 in Estero on October 28.
