ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades can advance to the Eastern Conference Finals with a win at Hertz Arena over the Jacksonville Icemen in Game Four of the South Division Finals on Friday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m. 

Cam Johnson grabbed his third shutout of the playoffs with a 26-save shutout in a 2-0 Game Three win for Florida. He one of only three netminders with mulitiple playoff shutouts and the only one with three.  

Sean Josling scored the game winning goal in the second period on a power play, extending his ECHL lead with his seventh goal of the postseason. The Everblades are the third-best power play team this postseason, operating at 25.7 per cent efficiency. Tyler Irvine scored the insurance marker for Florida, his first goal since Game One of the opening round. 

Joe Pendenza grabbed a helper in the win, leaving his tied for second in points in the playoffs with 12, sitting one back of first place. Pendenza is also tied with teammate Stefan Leblanc for fifth in assists with seven and tied for third with teammate Oliver Chau with a plus-seven rating. 

This loss was the first time a team shut out Jacksonville in the playoffs and their first shutout loss since March 11 against the Savannah Ghost Pirates. Benjamin Tardif led the Icemen with five shots on goal. 

The Everblades have scored the first goal in eight of nine games in the postseason. Florida is looking to sweep Jacksonville for the second straight time.
