North Charleston, S.C. – The Florida Everblades will look to take a 2-0 series lead against the South Carolina Stingrays in Game Two on Monday, April 24 at 7:05 p.m.
Florida took down South Carolina 5-0 in Game One on Saturday night. Cam Johnson made 35 saves for the shutout, his fifth postseason shutout in his career.
Sean Josling and Tyler Irvine each scored twice in the win, and Ashton Calder scored his first professional playoff goal to round out the goal scoring for the Everblades.
Joe Pendenza had three assists in the game to tie Irvine for the team lead in points in the first game.
Logan Lambdin and Zach Uens each got their first career playoff points with an assist.
Tyler Wall got the loss for the Stingrays, allowing all five goals against. Former Everblades Josh Wilkins was ejected from the game in the opening period on a major slashing penalty.
