SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Florida Everblades picked up a point in a 3-2 shootout setback Saturday night in Savannah, but will be looking for more as the two-game series with the Ghost Pirates wraps up Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. inside Enmarket Arena.
Florida (30-15-4-4) has posted two regulation losses and a shootout loss in the last three games and will be gunning for the team’s first win since a 4-1 victory over Kansas City on February 24.
Saturday’s shootout setback leaves the Everblades with a 4-1-0-1 mark against Savannah in both the season and all-time series.
Levko Koper and Andrew Fyten both registered a goal and an assist in Saturday night’s series opener. For Koper, the two-point effort was his second this season, while Fyten logged the first goal and the first assist of his professional career in just his second game with the Everblades.
With an assist on Saturday, Brad Morrison now has four points on one goal and three assists in his last two games.
The Everblades return to Hertz Arena for the first of three games versus the South Carolina Stingrays on Wednesday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m.
