ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades begin a three-game series at Hertz Arena against the South Carolina Stingrays on Wednesday, January 25 at 7:30 p.m.
Florida won both meetings with South Carolina earlier this season, winning 4-2 on January 14 and 3-1 the next day. Cam Johnson starred in that set, earning two wins and making 76 saves on 79 shots.
Florida saw their four-game winning streak come to an end in a tough loss to the Orlando Solar Bears Sunday afternoon. Despite outshooting Orlando 49-26, the Solar Bears eked out a 2-1 win over the Everblades.
The Stingrays also lost on Sunday. They came up just short of a comeback victory, losing 5-4 to the Jacksonville Icemen.
The Everblades currently sit one point ahead of South Carolina in the South Division standings.
