Everblades Acquire Defenseman Ben Masella from Worcester

ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced Thursday that the team has acquired defenseman Ben Masella from the Worcester Railers in exchange for future considerations.

Masella, 25, joins the Everblades after recording 23 points (3g, 19a) in 66 games played during his rookie campaign with Worcester last season. The 6-1, 215-pound defender made three appearances with the Adirondack Thunder following his senior season at St. Lawrence University (NCAA) in 2016-17.  The Montreal, Quebec native totaled 24 points (4g, 20a) during his four-year collegiate career at St. Lawrence from 2013-2017.

Masella becomes the third addition to the team’s defensive unit for the 2018-19 season.  To view the current roster CLICK HERE.
