Forward Dave Dziurzynski Added to Playoff Roster

ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced Thursday that forward Dave Dziurzynski has returned to the team and has been added to the playoff roster.

Dziurzynski (durr-zhen-SKEE), 27, returns to the Everblades where he recorded three points (2g, 1a) in 19 games played this season.  In addition, Dziurzynski also posted ten points (4g, 6a) in 36 American Hockey League (AHL) contest split between the Utica Comets and most recently with the Belleville Senators.

Dziurzynski recorded 17 points (11g, 6a) with 140 penalty minutes in 50 games played last season with the Iserlohn Roosters (DEL). The 6-3 218-pound winger has appeared in 26 NHL games with the Ottawa Senators (2012-13 & 2015-16) totaling six points (3g, 3a).

From 2011-2016, Dziurzynski appeared in 315 AHL games with the Binghamton Senators compiling 127 points (46g, 81a) along with 502 penalty minutes.  The Lloydminster, Alberta native helped lead Binghamton to an AHL Calder Cup title in 2011.

The team's playoff roster is now set at the maximum 23 players. Dziurzynski is expected to be available for Thursday’s Game 3 of the South Division Semifinals at Atlanta. Game time is set for 7:35 p.m.
