ESTERO, FL – The Florida Everblades are pleased to announce that the annual Laces of Love Night will take place on Friday, March 30 when the ‘Blades battle the Greenville Swamp Rabbits at Germain Arena beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Fans are asked to bring a new pair of tennis shoes or sneakers to donate to the Laces of Loveshoe drive for the March 30 game. The donated shoes will be distributed to needy children and teenagers in Southwest Florida. The shoes may be dropped off at the Laces of Love table located in the concourse prior to the game.
Hertz has provided a customized vehicle (pictured below) in an effort to fill the car with shoes for those in need in our area!
New shoes fitted for teenagers and young children are always welcome, including athletic shoes such as cleats.
Fans may purchase a discounted fundraising game ticket for $15, with $5 of each ticket purchased being donated directly to Laces of Love. The donation will be used acquire additional shoes for those in need.

The Laces of Love Charitable Foundation, Inc. is a 501-c-3 not-for-profit organization that provides new shoes to low-income and disadvantaged children and educates the public about the needs of these children. Since its incorporation in 2005, Laces of Love has provided over 90,000 pairs of new shoes to needy kids in Southwest Florida.
Last year’s Laces of Love game collected nearly 450 new pairs of shoes for children and teens in our area.
Fans unable to attend the Friday, March 30 game, may also make a shoe donation at the Wednesday, March 28 game, or drop of their shoe donation at the Everblades offices located at Germain Arena. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
