Kirkpatrick Returns to Everblades from AHL

ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced Saturday that forward Michael Kirkpatrick has been returned to the team after being on loan to the Cleveland Monsters of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Kirkpatrick, 27, returns to the Everblades where he has posted 40 points (15g, 25a) in 33 games this season.  Kirkpatrick made three appearances during his recent call-up with Cleveland. The 5-11, 182-pound center has totaled 158 points (65g, 93a) in 168 career ECHL games split between the Everblades and the Adirondack Thunder. Prior to his professional career, Kirkpatrick accumulated 102 points in four seasons at St. Francis Xavier University from 2011-2015.  The North Sydney, Nova Scotia native also totaled 251 points (108g, 143a) during his four seasons with the Saint John Sea Dogs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). Kirkpatrick was a member of Saint John’s 2011 Memorial Cup Championship team.

In an additional roster move, the Everblades activated defenseman Matt Finn from the injured reserve list. Finn made his official Everblades debut in Friday's game at Tulsa.  Finn recorded two goals during an October 7 preseason game before suffering an injury that has sidelined him for the first 48 games of the season.

Both Kirkpatrick and Finn will be available for tonight's game at Tulsa.  Game time is set for 8:00 p.m. (EST).  Fans can catch the game broadcast on 99.3 ESPN Radio or by CLICKING HERE. Fans can also watch the game online at ECHL.TV
