About Tonight’s Game: The Everblades can become the first team in the ECHL to clinch a playoff spot with a win in regulation this evening.  However, the Icemen are unbeaten in their last four games (3-0-1-0) including a 4-3 overtime victory over the Everblades on Saturday. The win against the ‘Blades was the first for Icemen in their inaugural season.  Florida leads the series 7-0-1-0. The Everblades hold a slim two-point edge over South Carolina for the top spot in the South Division.

About Saturday’s Game: Jacksonville’s Austin Lotz pieced together a stellar performance making 40 saves to help guide the Icemen to a 4-3 overtime victory over the Everblades at Germain Arena.  Florida rallied from a two-goal deficit in the third period to earn a point in the loss. Mitchell Heard had a hand in all three Florida tallies, finishing with three points (1g, 2a).

About the Everblades:  Martin Ouellette is expected to start in goal once again this evening.  Ouellette is fifth in the league with a 2.12 goals-against-average.  Additionally, Ouellette is third in the league with 22 wins…Joe Cox is coming off his ninth multi-point game of the season on Saturday.  Cox leads all league rookies with seven game-winning goals….The Everblades have outscored their opponents 68-42 in the third period.

Pearce leads the team in scoring with 42 points, and has a team best six points (4g, 2a) against the Everblades this season….Goaltender Austin Lotz has carried the workload in net for the Icemen as of late having played in 12 of the past 16 games.  Lotz has won his last three starts.
