About Tonight’s Game: After dropping a tough game on Friday to the Orlando Solar Bears, the Everblades will look to bounce back tonight against another Florida foe in the Jacksonville Icemen.  Florida maintains a three-point edge over second place South Carolina for first place in the South Division, while maintaining a one-point edge over Colorado for the top spot overall in the league.  The Icemen jumped to sixth place in the South Division with a victory last night over Norfolk.  The Everblades have taken all seven meetings against the Icemen this season, but the matchups have been tightly contested as six of the seven wins have been decided by two goals or less.

Last Time Out:  Orlando goaltender Cal Heeter made 30 saves to guide the Solar Bears to a 3-1 victory over the Everblades last night at Germain Arena.  Forward Justin Kea scored the lone tally for Florida in the contest…Jacksonville is coming off a 5-3 win at home against the Norfolk Admirals on Friday night.  The Icemen scored three goals in a 91-second span in the opening period to grab a commanding lead.

About the Everblades:  Martin Ouellette will start in goal tonight for Florida.  Ouellette owns the third best goals-against-average in the ECHL at 2.05…The Everblades are 21-1-1-0 when leading after two periods.  Subsequently, the ‘Blades own a league best six wins when trailing after two periods.
