About Tonight’s Game: The Everblades continue to hold the top spot overall in the ECHL with 71 points.  The Colorado Eagles are four points back of the ‘Blades heading into tonight’s play.  Additionally, the Everblades continue to lead the South Carolina Stingrays by six points for first place in the South Division.   The Everblades are unbeaten in their last four games and snapped Allen’s five-game unbeaten streak last night.  The Americans still maintain third place in the Western Conference’s Mountain Division.  The ‘Blades are 14-1-1-0 in Saturday games this season.

About Friday’s Game:  Martin Ouellette stopped all 19 shots faced to earn his second shutout of the season, as the Everblades defeated the Americans 4-0 at Germain Arena.   Florida’s special teams were instrumental in the victory, as the ‘Blades went 2-for-4 on the power play, while earning a perfect 8-for-8 mark on the penalty kill.

About the Everblades:  Justin Kea’s point scoring streak was snapped at six games in Friday night’s game.  Kea posted nine points during that six-game stretch…Martin Ouellette recorded his ninth career shutout on Friday night. Ouellette will once again get the start in goal this evening for Florida.
