MacAulay Returns to 'Blades from AHL Syracuse

MacAulay Returns to 'Blades from AHL Syracuse

ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced Sunday that forward Stephen MacAulay (pictured above) has returned to the team on loan to the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League (AHL).

MacAulay, 25, returns to the Everblades where he has posted a team best 40 points (20g, 20a) in 39 games played this season.  MacAulay was scoreless in three appearances during his recent call-up with Syracuse.

Last season, MacAulay recorded 19 points (10g, 9a) in 23 games with Florida, while also logging six points in 30 appearances with the Springfield Thunderbirds (AHL), The 6-2, 185-pound center played three seasons at St. Mary’s University (AUS) totaling 70 points (24g, 46a) in 68 career games. MacAulay won Memorial Cup Championships with Saint John (QMJHL) in 2011 and a second title with Halifax (QMJHL) in 2013.

MacAulay is expected to be in the lineup on Sunday when the Everblades close out their road trip in Wrocester. Game time is set for 3:05 p.m.  Fans can catch the game broadcast on WJBX News, Talk & More on 101.5-FM.104.3-FM, 770-AM or by CLICKING HEREFans can also watch the game online at ECHL.TV
