ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced Wednesday that forward Dave Dziurzynski has been loaned to the Utica Comets of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Dziurzynski (durr-zhen-SKEE), 27, joins the Comets after posting three points (2g, 1a) with 21 penalty minutes in 19 games played with the Everblades this season.
Dziurzynski recorded 17 points (11g, 6a) with 140 penalty minutes in 50 games played last season with the Iserlohn Roosters (DEL). The 6-3 218-pound winger has appeared in 26 NHL games with the Ottawa Senators (2012-13 & 2015-16) totaling six points (3g, 3a).
From 2011-2016, Dziurzynski appeared in 315 AHL games with the Binghamton Senators compiling 127 points (46g, 81a) along with 502 penalty minutes. The Lloydminster, Alberta native helped lead Binghamton to an AHL Calder Cup title in 2011.
