ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced Friday that the team has acquired defenseman Jake Bolton from the Wheeling Nailers in exchange for future considerations.

Bolton, 25, joins the Everblades after logging a goal and an assist in six games played with the Nailers this season.  Last season, the 6-2. 212-pound blueliner totaled 12 points (2g, 10a) in 55 games split between the Atlanta Gladiators and Wichita Thunder.

Bolton began is professional career with the Gladiators in the spring of 2016, following a productive collegiate career at Holy Cross College.  The Ellington, Connecticut native totaled 54 points (11g, 43a) during his four seasons at Holy Cross.

Bolton becomes the third addition to the Everblades defensive corps this week.  Sean Robertson was added last Friday, while Vinny Muto also joined the team on Monday.

The Everblades battle the Cincinnati Cyclones tonight and Saturday at Germain Arena.  Promotional details and ticket information are listed below.
