ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades President and General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced Sunday that the team has acquired forward Kyle Neuber from the Allen Americans in exchange for future considerations.
Neuber, 28, joins the Everblades after logging two points with 18 penalty minutes in eight appearances with Allen from 2016-17. From 2013-2016, Neuber played three seasons at the University of Guelph totaling 46 points (20g, 26a) along with 233 penalty minutes.
The 6-4, 250-pound winger has also recorded six points (4g, 2a) with 180 penalty minutes in 50 American Hockey League (AHL) contests split between the Syracuse Crunch, Springfield Falcons and Toronto Marlies from 2009-2012.
Prior to beginning his professional career, Neuber played four seasons (2006-2010) in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) split between the Toronto/Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors and Sarnia Sting registering a total of 31 points and 526 penalty minutes. The London, Ontario native was originally selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the seventh-round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
