About Tonight’s Game: Florida can lock up the number one seed overall in the Eastern Conference with a win tonight as the ‘Blades hold the tiebreaker over the North Division’s Adirondack Thunder (85 points with 4 games remaining). The K-Wings have already clinched their playoff spot and remain in fourth in the Central Division.
About Friday’s Game: Kalamazoo raced out to a 3-0 lead in the second period to force the Everblades to play catch up for the remainder of the game. In a wild third period, Florida eventually tied the game at 4-4 and again later at 5-5, but surrendered a goal by Brian Hart in the closing minutes of play to fall by a score of 7-5. Kalamazoo’s Peter Schneider registered a hat trick in the game. The game marked the Friday home regulation loss of the season for the Everblades (10-1-1-1).
