About Tonight’s Game: Tonight the top two teams in the Eastern Conference square off and enter the contest tied with 45 points each.  The ‘Blades lead the South Division by five points over second place Orlando, while the Monarchs hold a four-point lead in the North Division.

About Wednesday’s Game:   Michael Kirkpatrick scored the tying goal and the game-winning goal in the shootout to lead the Everblades to a 5-4 come-from-behind victory over the Manchester Monarchs.  Manchester assumed a 4-1 lead in the second period thanks in part to a two-goal performance from Jordan Lavallee-Smotherman.  However, Florida rallied for three unanswered goals before eventually taking the game in the overtime shootout.

About the Everblades:  Florida will be without forward John McCarron tonight.   McCarron earned a call up to the AHL’s St. John’s IceCaps.  Despite the loss of McCarron, the Everblades did receive forward Clark Bishop from the Charlotte Checkers (AHL) and Bishop is expected to make his Everblades debut tonight....With an assist in Wednesday’s game, Brant Harris extended his point scoring streak to ten games….Brendan O’Donnell has scored six goals in the last five games and ranks second in the league with five game-winning goals.
