ESTERO, FL – Florida Everblades President & General Manager Craig Brush along with Head Coach Brad Ralph announced Tuesday that the team has agreed to terms with forward Matt Hatch and goaltender Matt Skoff on a professional tryout contracts (PTO).

Hatch, 26, spent the previous two seasons with the Reading Royals where he totaled 27 points (15g, 12a) in 84 games. The 5-11, 191-pound forward also appeared in two games with the American Hockey League’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms during the 2014-15 season.  The Massena, New York native accumulated 73 points during his four-year collegiate career at Union College.

Skoff, 25, posted an 8-5-3 record, a 3.26. goals-against-average, and .902 save percentage at Penn State University last season.  The 6-1, 191-pound netminder totaled a 23-24-7 career record and one shutout with the Nittany Lions from 2012-2016.  The McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania native also appeared in two games with the Reading Royals last season posting a 1-1-0 record.

Saturday, December 10 vs. Elmira, 7:00 p.m. – Annual IBERIABANK Teddy Bear Toss!  Fans are encouraged to bring a new teddy bear or stuffed animal to the game to throw onto the ice when the Everblades score their first goal.   All of the teddy bears will be rounded up and delivered to local children's charities for the holidays!
