Everblades Games to Air on WJBX for 2016-17 Season

ESTERO, FL — The Florida Everblades are pleased to announce that WJBX News, Talk & More will be the radio home for Florida Everblades Hockey for the 2016-17 season.

WJBX programming broadcasts on 101.5-FM (Bonita Springs/Naples), 104.3-FM (Fort Myers) and AM-770.  In addition to airing games locally in Southwest Florida, WJBX will also provide an online webstream for all game broadcasts on the station’s website wjbxnewstalk.com

WJBX News, Talk & More is owned and operated by the Beasley Broadcasting Group Inc. of Southwest Florida. The station is based in Estero, Florida.

“We are extremely excited to continue our partnership with Beasley Broadcasting for our game broadcasts this season,” said Everblades Vice President of Business Development Chris Palin. “It is important for our fans to have the opportunity to follow the team during the season. WJBX’s three-signal network, including two FM signals, will immediately expand our coverage throughout the market, while also providing a webstream service for all fans outside of our area.”

Alex Reed will return for his sixth season as the “Voice of the Everblades.” Longtime Everblades great Ernie Hartlieb will join Reed in the broadcast boost for select home game broadcasts.
